Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced architect in Hong Kong to develop digital platform strategies aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities include leading the technical design of the Oracle ecosystem and managing project demand.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and experience in the utilities industry or IT relevant sectors. Strong communication skills are required, with proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese being a plus.

Job description

Location: Hong Kong

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital platform strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives – decarbonisation and digitalisation
• Lead technical design of Oracle ecosystem including WACS (Enterprise Asset Management) and CCS Billing, AMI / AMR Smart Metering Platform to optimize business capabilities for Meter to Cash
• Lead integration architecture design for strategic platforms (Oracle, Azure Data Platform, AMI/AMR) and transform legacy integration approach to API-driven and event driven architecture
• Manage project demand as an integrated architecture portfolio and drive prioritization of project scope / delivery and manage inter-dependency and roadmap
• Lead solution assessment and evaluate solution options to propose recommendations to key stakeholders including Business and Digital teams
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, digital teams, and other departments to drive solution scoping and influence key design decisions to ensure a timely project delivery
• Provide architectural design and guidance for enterprise platform standardization and adoption, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
• Work closely with delivery team and Enterprise Architecture team (Integration, Data, Security) to manage key design decisions and detailed design to support key implementation activities.
• Act as an individual contributor and demonstrate leadership to motivate digital talents within architecture community. Mentor and guide junior architects and technical teams.
• Encourage team collaborations and ensure best practices are shared and embedded across BG/BUs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines / Master’s degree in a related field is desirable.
• Experiences in utilities industry or IT relevant industry with a broad range of exposure to digital strategy and digital platform architecture. This could include Oracle WACS, CCS, Oracle Integration Cloud, AMI/AMR and multi-cloud platforms
• Must have experience in architecture portfolio management, not just single application or single platforms.
• Experience as solution architect, with experience in architecture definition, strategy alignment, roadmap design. Nice to have application development and project management skills.
• Experience in modern architectures and able to determine design pattern across a range of technologies.
• Broad skills across integration architecture, cloud, data and security architectures, API design, event-driven architecture, etc.
• Professional credentials in TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, COBIT, ScrumMaster, DevOps, or relevant disciplines preferred.
• Solution architecture certification(s) in one (or more) cloud solution(s), where applicable
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as influencing and leadership skills in English. Cantonese & Mandarin Chinese language abilities highly regarded.
• Proven track record of problem solving and analytical abilities and able to use own initiative.
