Job summary

IPS Group (Asia) Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Advisor (Employee Benefits) to manage and grow client relationships by delivering high-quality benefits solutions, oversee claim analysis, benchmarking, quotations, negotiations, and reporting from a brokerage perspective.

You will work with insurers and internal teams to design tailored employee benefits programs, stay updated on HK market developments, and ensure excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance brokerage, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in claim analysis, benchmarking, and cost management.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and insurers.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with fluency in English and Cantonese.
• Proficiency in MS Office and insurance-related systems/software.
• Solid knowledge of Hong Kong’s insurance market and regulations, particularly in employee benefits.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., IIQE or equivalent) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned client portfolios, with a focus on employee benefits programs including Group Medical and Flex offerings.
• Conduct claim analysis to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend improvements to clients.
• Perform benchmarking to ensure employee benefits solutions remain competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with client needs.
• Prepare and manage cost analyses and client quotations, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with insurers to secure favorable coverage and pricing.
• Produce detailed reports covering claims, costs, and overall program performance for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and key stakeholders to deliver excellent service.
• Work closely with internal teams to design tailored employee benefits solutions.
• Keep abreast of Hong Kong insurance market developments and relevant regulatory requirements.
