Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an experienced Actuary to lead financial closing, reserves and regulatory reporting for select life insurance lines. You will supervise 1–2 staff, oversee governance and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

The role also covers senior management reporting, auditing support, capital management and actuarial initiatives. You will mentor the team, manage multiple priorities and contribute to customer outcomes with a thoughtful, data-driven

Qualifications

• University/College graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistics or related subject, with relevant experience.
• Strong people management and analytical skills are expected.
• Good communication, presentation and project management abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Regular Financial Closing (Valuation, Control, Analysis) for lines of business and regulatory reporting.
• Senior Management Reporting and preparation of materials for committees and ALCO.
• Audit materials preparation and coordination with auditors.
• Governance & Compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Regulatory Filing support.
• Actuarial Initiatives / Projects including changes in assumptions, methodologies and models.
• Team coaching and development to improve process & analysis.
