Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an experienced actuarial professional to manage Macau statutory reporting, regulatory filings, and internal economic capital reporting under HNW. You will ensure governance and compliance and support senior management with analyses.

The role also involves developing tools in Excel, Alteryx, and Python, collaborating with modelling teams to prepare for Macau risk-based capital framework, and leading actuarial initiatives.

Qualifications

• University / College graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistics, Business Administration or related subject with at least 4 years’ experience in life insurance industry.
• Good progression in Actuarial professional examination
• Proficiency in MS Office and actuarial software knowledge (Prophet is an advantage).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Regular Financial Closing (Valuation, Control, Analysis) – manage reserve and capital calculation and ensure internal control requirements.
• Senior Management Reporting – prepare materials for statutory valuation and regulatory reporting to committees (FRC, QBR, AC, ALCO).
• Audit management – prepare audit materials and coordinate with auditors.
• Governance & Compliance – ensure valuation governance and regulatory compliance with internal standards.
• Monthly / Quarterly / Annual Regulatory Filing – provide management support to filings and analyses.
• Actuarial Initiatives / Project – lead impact assessment of changes in assumptions, methodologies, and models.
