Job summary

AIA Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Actuary to oversee the monthly financial closing, reserves analysis, and capital requirements for a line of business. You will report to senior management and support regulatory filings and audits while ensuring governance and compliance with internal policies.

In this role you will lead a small team, develop methodologies, and collaborate with stakeholders to provide reliable insights that support strategic decisions and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• University/college graduate in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or business administration with at least 6 years' life insurance experience.
• Pass mark or attainment toward actuarial professional examinations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; actuarial software experience a plus (Prophet).

Responsibilities

• Oversee regular financial closing, reserve and capital analysis.
• Prepare senior management materials for regulatory valuation and reporting.
• Support audit activities with timely materials.
• Ensure governance and regulatory compliance.
