Job summary

GMI Cloud, a cloud-focused finance team in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced accountant with strong Big 4 audit background and hands-on accounting experience. You will manage daily accounting operations, month-end close, consolidation, budgeting, and financial analysis while strengthening internal controls and coordinating with external auditors.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, proficient in Excel, and familiar with IFRS/USGAAP.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Qualified accountant with HKICPA/ACCA/CPA.
• Minimum 3 years of Big 4 audit experience and 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in written & spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Proficiency in Excel skills.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks (accounting software) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with IFRS and USGAAP is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, responsible, able to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
• Good interpersonal skills and team player.

• Prepare and review month-end closing, reconciliation and supporting schedules.
• Prepare group consolidation financial statements, supporting schedules and management reports.

• Liaise with external auditors for preparation of annual audit.
• Perform ad hoc projects and special assignments.

Key responsibilities

About you

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines

Qualified accountant with related professional accounting qualifications such as HKICPA / ACCA / CPA

Minimum 3 years of Big 4 audit experience and 3 years of relevant accounting commercial experience

Proficient in written & spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Proficiency in Excel skills

Familiarity with QuickBooks (accounting software) is preferred but not mandatory
