Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our Finance team. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage accounts payable, closing, and financial reporting for HK and Macau subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will support system projects, liaise with auditors, and help optimize workflows while maintaining compliance with HK standards. Ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical, bilingual candidate with 4+ years in accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• HKICPA or equivalents is an advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years' accounting or auditing experience (Big 4/2nd tier preferred).
• Knowledge of Hong Kong or international accounting standards and relevant tax rules.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; MYOB experience advantageous.
• Independent, analytical, well organized and responsible.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality financial reports and consolidation for the group.
• Provide day-to-day technical support in audit, accounting, tax and financial analysis for HK and Macau subsidiaries.
• Manage month-end closing procedures and timely submission of management reports.
• Draft and review financial statements for HK and overseas entities.
• Oversee accounts payable cycle including payments, journal entries, inter-company reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity for daily operations.
• Assist CFO in streamlining accounting workflows, policies, and guidelines.
• Support system implementation projects for financial accounting and reporting functions.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely statutory audits.
• Handle tax computations for HK companies.
• Communicate with banking service providers to support daily operations.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned.

About the role

Requirements:

• Holder of Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• HKICPA or equivalents is an advantage

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting or auditing. Candidates from Big 4 and second tier audit firms are preferred

• Knowledge of Hong Kong or international accounting standards and relevant tax rules

• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience in MYOB is an advantage
