Job summary

Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, seeks an Assistant Security Manager to support daily operations and supervise security staff around the clock. You will help uphold luxury hotel security and guest safety in a high-demand environment.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, training initiatives, and effective incident handling, with a focus on maintaining a secure guest experience and ensuring regulatory compliance in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in hotel security, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Holder of Security Personnel Permit.
• Holder of valid First Aider and AED certificate.
• Higher diploma in security or safety management preferred.
• Strong service mindset, planning and organising skills.
• Good leadership, training and coaching abilities.
• Multitasking and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Manager in supervising and motivating the Security team to maintain hotel security and safety.
• Set up, review and improve security operating procedures as needed.
• Plan and coordinate security measures for VIP visits and events.
• Collaborate on security and safety training for the team and emergency response members.
• Lead investigations and incident reporting with the security team.
