Job summary

Adecco Portugal seeks a Security Solution Architect to work with customers on technology consulting, design, and delivery of M365 security solutions. You will guide architecture decisions in hybrid environments and collaborate with account teams and stakeholders.

Requires strong customer interaction skills, business insight, and ability to present to customers and specialists. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure or CISSP are desirable.

Security Solution Architect - M365 Security

You will work closely with customers to provide technology consulting, technical guidance, and solution support throughout the pre-sales and delivery lifecycle. You will help design and deliver technology solutions that align with business needs, support planning and implementation activities, and contribute to architecture decisions across complex hybrid environments. The position requires strong customer interaction skills, solid business insight, and the ability to work across account teams, technical specialists, and project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Provide technology consulting and technical guidance to customers, ensuring solution architecture aligns with business strategy.

Support account teams on complex projects and programs during pre-sales, planning, design, implementation, and support phases.

Develop and maintain solution roadmaps and select appropriate infrastructure, technology platforms, and products.

Contribute accurate, risk-aware input to estimating and planning processes for business development activities.

Produce high-quality user documentation, including high-level and low-level design documents.

Encourage idea sharing, collaboration, and reuse of knowledge across teams, communities, and projects.

Support solution implementation and application design deliverables within detailed project plans and work breakdown structures.

About you

Proven experience in a Systems Integrator or large organization with more than 2,000 users implementing sophisticated IT solutions in hybrid environments.

At least 5 years of customer interaction experience in a consultant, technical delivery, or technical leadership role.

Advanced knowledge in one and good knowledge in at least two of the following areas: cloud security solutions, M365 Security & Compliance, information protection, identity management, or hybrid M365 security.

Experience with Enterprise Mobility & Security (EM+S), Microsoft Sentinel, or another third-party SIEM / SOAR solution is desirable.

Knowledge of Double Key encryption, HSM, HYOK, and multi-tenant security management is desirable.

Strong problem-solving ability, business insight, and clear verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to learn quickly, adapt to rapid changes in cloud and mobility technologies, and present effectively to customers and specialists.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst, CISSP, or CEH are desirable.
