Job summary

Cognizant Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to define and drive integration strategy across complex multi‑system landscapes. You will design modular integration solutions, govern API lifecycles, and lead architectural decisions across engineering and digital domains.

The role requires hands-on experience with MACH, microservices, MASA, Azure, REST, SOAP, and data security. You will collaborate with enterprise teams, support Agile delivery, and translate business needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of integration architecture or senior engineering experience.
• Experience in multinational or consulting environments.
• Knowledge of composable architecture, modular design, and capability-based integration.
• Hands-on with MACH, microservices, and MASA approaches.
• Experience with API lifecycle management and enterprise integration platforms.
• Familiar with Azure services (API Management, Logic Apps, Functions).

Responsibilities

• Define and drive integration architecture and strategy across complex, multi-system landscapes

• Design composable and modular integration solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles

• Lead and influence architectural decisions across engineering and digital domains

• Design and govern API lifecycle management and enterprise integration services

• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and reusable integration platforms and services

• Apply integration patterns including REST, SOAP, messaging, and event-driven architectures

• Establish integration standards, governance frameworks, and reusable architectural patterns

• Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams on strategic roadmaps and transformation initiatives

• Support Agile, product-centric delivery with a focus on long-term ownership and continuous improvement

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in integration architecture or senior engineering roles

• Experience working within multinational or consulting environments

• Strong knowledge of composable architecture, modular design, and capability-based integration

• Hands-on experience with MACH, microservices, and MASA architectural approaches

• Extensive experience with API lifecycle management and enterprise integration platforms

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure API Management, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions

• Strong understanding of integration patterns including REST (Representational State Transfer), SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), messaging, and event-driven architectures

• Experience designing integrations across cloud and hybrid environments

• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices including CI/CD and automation

• Strong awareness of cloud security, data privacy, PII handling, and compliance considerations

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

• Proven ability to collaborate across business, digital, engineering, and global teams

• Experience in omnichannel, retail, luxury, or enterprise transformation programs is an advantage
