Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking an Administrative and Volunteer Co-ordinator to support the employee volunteer team within the Corporate Affairs Division. You will assist in planning and delivering community activities, events, and volunteer programmes, while maintaining clear records and communication with internal partners.

Applicants with a Diploma or above and some coordination experience are welcome.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or above in any discipline; students applications are welcome.
  • Prior experience in administrative, clerical, or coordination roles is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Club's employee volunteer team.
  • Assist in coordination and implementation of volunteer service programmes and community activities.
  • Support event logistics, including preparation, on-site coordination and post-event follow up.
  • Liaise with internal departments, NGO partners and volunteers to facilitate smooth programme delivery.
  • Maintain and update volunteer records, database and activity reports.
  • Handle enquiries from volunteers and stakeholders via email, phone or messaging platforms.
  • Assist in preparing promotional materials, event highlight stories and summaries for internal and external communications.
  • Work outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by Manager.

Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club ("the Club") is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Division

The Corporate Affairs (CA) Division strengthens the strategic development and positioning of the Club as a world-class racing club and charity organisation, through engaging key stakeholders in both Hong Kong and the Mainland, and maintaining efficient and effective corporate communications.

The Job

Payrate: $89.5 per hour
