HR Plus (Talent) Limited is recruiting a Security Consultant / Senior Security Engineer in Hong Kong to lead enterprise network security projects, advise clients on robust solutions, and shape technical roadmaps across network, cloud, and security domains.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in SI/ MSP environments, hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, or F5, and strong Cantonese/English communication. This role emphasizes post-sales delivery and team coaching.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Five to seven years of relevant experience in a System Integrator, MSP, or vendor environment.
• Experience handling enterprise-scale network security projects.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing major network security products (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, F5).
• Practical expertise in SD-WAN, Remote Access VPN, and SASE frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, IPSEC VPN, QoS).
• Security design across LAN/WAN/data centre/cloud (AWS/Azure).
• Ability to coach teams and deliver client presentations.
• Excellent Cantonese and English communication.
• Certs valued: PCNSE, CCNP; CISSP/CISM/CISA/CEH valued.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end design, configuration, deployment, and optimisation of enterprise network security infrastructures.
• Implement and optimise NGFWs, SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Collaborate with enterprise security and network teams as a trusted advisor.
• Develop technical roadmaps and deliver post-sales network/security solutions.
• Coach junior/mid-level engineers and foster a collaborative delivery environment.
• Coordinate with PMs, customers, vendors, and third parties on deliverables.
• Ensure projects run on time and meet quality standards.
• Act as Tier-3 escalation for critical network/security incidents.

Security Consultant / Senior Security Engineer (43k, SI, Team Lead / Post-Sales)

Join a well-established and leading IT Solutions Provider in Hong Kong as a Security Consultant / Senior Security Engineer within the post-sales division. You will lead the delivery of enterprise cybersecurity projects, advise customers on robust security solutions, and help shape technical roadmaps across network, cloud, and security environments.

Key responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, deployment, and optimisation of complex enterprise network security infrastructures.

Implement and optimise Next-Generation Firewalls, SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud or virtualisation platforms, including AWS and Azure.

Collaborate directly with enterprise customers’ security and network teams as a trusted technical advisor.

Establish technical roadmaps and deliver robust post-sales network and cybersecurity solutions.

Guide, coach, and develop junior and mid-level engineers while fostering a collaborative delivery environment.

Partner with project managers, customers, vendors, and third parties to coordinate schedules and manage technical deliverables.

Ensure projects are executed on time and meet agreed technical and quality standards.

Act as a Tier-3 technical escalation point to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve critical network and security incidents.

What we're looking for

A degree or Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Five to seven years of relevant experience in a System Integrator, Managed Service Provider, or vendor environment.

Experience handling enterprise-scale network security projects.

Strong hands-on experience configuring and managing major network security products, such as Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, or F5.

Practical expertise in SD-WAN, Remote Access VPN, and SASE frameworks.

Solid knowledge of core network routing and switching, including OSPF, BGP, IPSEC VPN, and QoS.

Strong understanding of security design across LAN, WAN, data centre, and public cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.

Proven ability to coach teams, provide technical guidance, and deliver client presentations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in Cantonese and English.

Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP, or equivalent vendor credentials are valued.

Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH are valued.
