Job summary

A prominent financial institution in Hong Kong seeks an experienced leader to manage credit operations. Responsibilities include overseeing a team of credit approvers, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and handling customer inquiries. The ideal candidate must hold a degree and have 10+ years of experience in unsecured lending, along with strong analytical, risk assessment, and communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua. Qualifications

• Degree holder or above in Business Administration, Credit Risk or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in unsecured lending.
• Strong knowledge of credit operations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of credit approvers to review, assess, and approve credit card applications within delegated lending authority and in compliance with internal policies.
• Manage and monitor credit quality of card portfolio.
• To formulate / revise credit policy, credit process, credit manuals / SOPs in accordance with the changing market environment / business strategy.
• To participate in system projects with the aim of optimizing the credit operation, credit risk, AML risk and fraud risk.
• Handle internal and external customer enquiries / complaints.

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Business Administration, Credit Risk or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years’ solid experience of unsecured lending in credit card / unsecured personal loan.
• Good knowledge of credit operation, operation system, credit guideline and regulatory requirment.
• Strong credit analytical and risk assessment skills.
• Good verbal and written commumication skills.
• Effective team management skill.
• Proficiency in Putonghua, Cantonese and English.
