Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd in Hong Kong invites a dedicated Laboratory Support Assistant to help prepare science resources and assist teachers during lessons according to the timetable.

Responsibilities include cleaning and tidying the science laboratory, managing loaned items, receiving deliveries, and providing simple IT / admin support. You will also help run eco-garden activities such as hydroponics and farmbot projects, and assist with printing teaching aids.

• Assist teachers during science laboratory lessons according to the timetable
• Clean up and tidy science laboratory after experiments are conducted
• Keep and clean science laboratory resources after all classes have completed the experiments
• Assist teachers to carry out learning activities eg eco-trails, hydroponics, farmbot (robotic-enabled farming)
• Provide simple Admin / Resource / IT support
• Support science laboratory’s tracking of loaned items through loan records (sign out and sign in)
• Receive deliveries from MOE HQ / vendors / agencies and bring to science laboratories
• Assist in printing, collating worksheets, laminating game cards and posters etc

• Assist teachers during science laboratory lessons according to
• the stipulated timetable.
• Clean up and tidy science laboratory after science experiments
• are conducted.
• Keep and clean science laboratory resources after all classes
• have completed the experiments.
• Support learning trails and activities at eco-graden
• Assist teachers to carry out learning activities eg eco-trails,
• hydroponics, farmbot (robotic-enabled farming)
• Assist teachers to prepare teaching aids for use at eco-garden
• Provide Simple Admin / Resource / IT support
• Support science laboratory’s tracking of loaned items through
• loan records (sign out and sign in)
• Support science department to print, collate worksheets, laminate
• game cards and posters etc
• Receive deliverys from MOE HQ / vendors / agencies eg NParks
• etc and bring to science laboratories
• Support teachers, in providing simple IT services. Eg get ready
• projectors for teachers, get ready ipad carts to use at science
• laboratories and eco-garden
• Carry out stock take twice a year
• Assist in the issuance and collection of desk copies and any
• other teaching aids meant for teachers
• Any other duties as assigned or requested by Head of
• Department / Level Head / level reps / teachers
