Role Description

The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hong Kong SAR, responsible for driving museum revenue through ticket sales, group bookings, and strategic partnerships. This role oversees daily sales operations, manages relationships with tour operators, schools, and corporate clients, and develops packages and promotions that increase visitor volume. The Sales Manager monitors sales performance, prepares forecasts and reports, and collaborates with marketing to align campaigns with commercial targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and coaching the sales team, setting goals, ensuring high standards of customer service, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and reporting tools. The person in this role works closely with museum management to optimize pricing, improve visitor conversion, and support special events and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Strong sales, account management, and business development skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in hospitality, attractions, tourism, entertainment, or retail environments, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Skills in customer relationship management, including negotiation, client servicing, and handling group and corporate bookings.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, create forecasts, and use CRM and reporting tools to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present proposals clearly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including setting priorities, managing multiple initiatives, and leading a small team.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Cantonese, Mandarin, or other languages is an advantage for engaging diverse visitors and partners.
  • Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, including occasional weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is also considered.
  • Enthusiasm for interactive experiences, education, and creating memorable visits, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
