Job summary

BBVA Hong Kong busca un profesional senior para impulsar el crecimiento de la franquicia de Equity Derivatives en Asia, cubriendo clientes institucionales en Hong Kong y Singapore. Liderará la relación con bancos privados, casas de valores y oficinas familiares, traduciendo actividad de clientes a acciones internas.

Se requieren 5–7 años en productos estructurados y derivados de acciones, con habilidades analíticas, liderazgo y experiencia multilingüe en inglés y chino.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in structured products with equity derivatives focus.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth through strategic account planning and client coverage.
• Translate client activity into actionable insights with internal teams.
• Oversee client onboarding ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Improve operations to reduce risk and scale processes.
• Provide market colour, sales commentary, and market insights to clients.

Job Purpose & Objectives

Drive client engagement, optimize sales operations, and lead strategic expansion across the Equity Derivatives commercial franchise in Asia. Focus on key institutional client coverage, including Private Banks, Securities Houses, and Family Offices across Hong Kong and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth through strategic account planning, client coverage, and tailored multi-asset investment product solutions.
• Bring client relationships for existing and potential business opportunities.
• Serve as a senior liaison between clients and internal teams (Trading, Structuring, e-Connectivity, Sales Trading) to translate client activity into actionable insights and enhance service delivery.
• Oversee and continuously improve the client onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration and regulatory compliance.
• Champion initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce operational risk, and scale processes to support business expansion.
• Ensure high-quality bilingual trade documentation for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provide market colour, sales commentary, and tailored market insights to key institutional clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and structured product developments.
• Report on business performance, pipeline, and key issues to direct management while supporting broader regional strategic initiatives.
