Job summary

BBVA in Asia seeks to drive client engagement and lead expansion across the Equity Derivatives franchise, focusing on institutional coverage in Hong Kong and Singapore.

You will manage strategic accounts, tailor multi-asset solutions, and work closely with Trading, Structuring and Sales Trading to translate activity into growth. You will also oversee onboarding, monitor market trends, and provide market colour and insights to key clients across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in structured products with a strong focus on equity derivatives.
• Strategic thinker who takes initiative, anticipates challenges, and drives solutions with speed and precision.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage market insights for revenue optimization.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth through strategic account planning, client coverage, and tailored multi-asset investment product solutions.
• Bring client relationships for existing and potential business opportunities.
• Serve as a senior liaison between clients and internal teams (Trading, Structuring, e-Connectivity, Sales Trading) to translate client activity into actionable insights and enhance service delivery.
• Oversee and continuously improve the client onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration and regulatory compliance.
• Champion initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce operational risk, and scale processes to support business expansion.
• Ensure high-quality bilingual trade documentation for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provide market colour, sales commentary, and tailored market insights to key institutional clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and structured product developments.
• Report on business performance, pipeline, and key issues to direct management while supporting broader regional strategic initiatives.
