Job summary

Gfi World in Hong Kong is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. You will handle accounts payable, expenses, fixed assets, debit notes and daily accounting operations.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Accountancy, 2–3 years of multinational experience, proficiency in MS Excel and SAP, and is fluent in English and Mandarin, able to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Degree holding in Accountancy or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of working experience in a multinational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle various general accounting functions, including accounts payable, general expenses, fixed assets, debit notes, and other daily accounting operations.
• Take responsibility for vendor payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Reconcile vendor statements and promptly address any vendor inquiries related to finance.
• Prepare vouchers, facilitate payments, and perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of reports on a timely basis, providing accurate and up-to-date financial information to support decision-making.
• Perform additional accounting-related duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the finance department.
