Job summary

OKX is seeking an experienced blockchain developer to join our team in Hong Kong, building the next generation of high-performance on-chain trading infrastructure. You will design and implement a unified trading engine supporting Perpetuals, Spot, and Prediction Markets, and contribute to ExchangeOS, an infrastructure layer for venue creation on our shared chain.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Rust and hands-on experience with high-performance, low-latency systems.
• Deep understanding of exchange/matching engine mechanics (order book, margin, liquidation).
• Solid grounding in blockchain fundamentals (consensus, P2P, cryptography).

Responsibilities

• Design and build a unified account and matching system supporting Perpetuals, Spot, and Prediction Markets.
• Develop core components of ExchangeOS enabling venue creation and operation.
• Drive performance engineering: low-latency pipelines, parallel execution, and scalability.
• Monitor evolving blockchain and trading-system tech and apply best practices.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to translate venue needs into technical designs.
