Job summary

OKX is seeking an experienced Rust Developer to join Exchange OS Trading Engine. You will design a unified account and matching system supporting Perpetuals, Spot, and Prediction Markets, and contribute to ExchangeOS infrastructure enabling venues on shared blockchain infrastructure.

Candidates should have strong Rust skills, knowledge of trading systems, and a solid background in high-performance, low-latency software.

Qualifications

Proven proficiency in Rust and high-performance, low-latency systems.
Experience with parallel/concurrent execution engines is a plus.
Solid understanding of exchange/matching engine mechanics (order book, margins, risk, settlement).
Background in blockchain fundamentals (consensus, P2P, cryptography).
Strong memory/allocator tuning and sub-millisecond latency mindset.

Responsibilities

Design and build a unified account and matching system for Perpetuals, Spot, and Prediction Markets.
Develop ExchangeOS core components for venue creation and dex deployment on shared infrastructure.
Drive performance engineering across the stack with low latency and high throughput.
Track and apply best practices from cutting-edge blockchain and trading-system tech.
Collaborate with product and business teams to translate venue needs into technical designs.
