Job summary

Hong Kong Job Consulting in Hong Kong SAR is seeking a Senior Risk Manager (Licensed Corporation) to lead risk and control functions in a fully licensed firm covering RA1, RA2, RA4, RA5 & RA9.

The role requires hands-on risk management development, strong knowledge of margin trading, fund management and SFC-regulated activities, plus excellent English and Putonghua communication. Seniority may be adjusted to Manager level for less experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA or FRM.
• 5–7 years of risk management experience in financial services.
• Experience with margin trading is essential.
• Knowledge of fund management and financial products in SFC-regulated activities.

Responsibilities

• Handle risk management related issues covering securities, futures and asset management.
• Measure and monitor risks portfolios, including investment, liquidity and counterparty risks.
• Review and update risk management policies and procedures.
• Ensure internal control policies and business activities comply with Hong Kong laws including SFC codes and guidelines.
• Handle ad-hoc projects assigned by senior management.
