Job summary

Hang Seng Bank Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Business Risk and Control Manager to strengthen risk governance within Investments and Wealth Solutions. You will act as BIRO, coordinate risk control activities and advise on risk throughout the business.

The role requires strong understanding of operational risk, regulatory expectations and stakeholder engagement in English and Chinese. You will report to the risk governance team and drive control enhancements across platforms.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• Experience in banking with risk control exposure.
• Knowledge of retail and wealth products and related regulations.
• Strong communication, analytical and ownership mindset.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Act as a focal point for risk topics and governance.
• Coordinate with risk stewards and business teams on risk controls.
• Lead continuous control monitoring and reviews based on policies.
• Provide advice to business on overall risk appetite and incidents.
• Support reporting of risk metrics to senior management.
