Job summary

The Repulse Bay is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations in The Verandah, a well-received restaurant serving Western cuisine.

You'll oversee service flow, assist with reservations and banquets, lead on-floor service, and supervise casual staff, while ensuring cleanliness and presentation meet brand standards in a busy dining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with supervisory background.
• Experience in a large-scale Western cuisine restaurant.
• Experience in à la carte service and banquet operations is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of wine and beverage service.
• Experience using SevenRooms or similar reservation platforms is desirable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and Chinese.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Captain.

Responsibilities

• Support Restaurant Manager in daily operations including à la carte and banquets.
• Deliver warm, attentive, and professional service in line with brand standards to create memorable dining experiences.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist with table management, reservations, and service flow during peak periods.
• Lead service on the floor and supervise the performance of team members, including casual staff.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene throughout the restaurant.
