Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee site supervision and support the delivery of redevelopment and associated works. You will ensure compliance with design and statutory requirements, provide technical guidance, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution.

The role requires a Chartered Engineer with a Civil Engineering degree and at least 5 years post-qualification experience, with fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in civil engineering or relevant field.
• Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Technical responsibility for engineering design delivery.
• Checking that the site works comply with the approved plans, design requirements including those of the method statements, precautionary and protective measures.
• Inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Validating conditions on site which relate to design assumptions for temporary or permanent structures.
• Conducting investigations into site-related complaints, accidents, and incidents, and making recommendations for corrective actions.
• Providing technical advice and support to all stakeholders regarding building design, construction, and Statutory approvals.
• Preparing interim payments, EOTs, claims, final account for comments and approval.
• Participating in meetings and workshops related to building construction and safety standards, compliance to codes, and regulations.
• Co-ordination, collaboration and management of other discipline inputs into projects.

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee site supervision and support the delivery of construction projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with design and statutory requirements, providing technical guidance, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution.

Your role

Technical responsibility for engineering design delivery.

Checking that the site works comply with the approved plans, design requirements including those of the method statements, precautionary and protective measures.

About you
