Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited invites applications for a Resident Structural Engineer (RSE) at the Kwu Tung North construction site. The candidate will supervise and coordinate structural and geotechnical works, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.

The role requires registration as a Professional Engineer (Civil or Structural) with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

Registered Professional Engineer (Civil or Structural) with minimum 5 years relevant post-professional qualification experience.

Responsibilities

Watch, inspect, test and examine materials used and workmanship for all structural/geotechnical works.
Supervise ground investigation works.
Check, supervise and inspect site formation and slope upgrading works.
Identify defective or substandard materials and workmanship and coordinate tests/remedial works.
Maintain site records and report progress and quality of structural works.
Coordinate builder's works with building services and prepare sketches and drawings.
Attend meetings and assist with investigations and reports.
Carry out site supervision of structural works including off-site prefabricated works in Office MiC Modules.
