The Laboratory for Synthetic Chemistry and Chemical Biology (LSCCB) invites applications for a Research Officer position in Hong Kong Science Park. The appointee will contribute to projects at the interface of chemistry, biology and medicine, focusing on drug discovery and molecular diagnostics.
The successful candidate should hold a PhD in Chemistry or Biomedical Science, offer 3–5 years of supervisory experience and a strong publication record.
Applications are invited for appointment as Research Officer in the Laboratory for Synthetic Chemistry and Chemical Biology (LSCCB) in Hong Kong Science Park. Established as a research unit in Hong Kong Science Park, LSCCB integrates chemical science and biomedical science for the development of new molecular medicines.
The appointee will be involved in research projects on synthetic chemistry, drug discovery and molecular diagnostics in a multidisciplinary team of chemists, biomedical and clinical scientists. They are expected to bring in new research initiatives in synthetic chemistry and chemical biology for cancer research.
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Chemistry or Biomedical Science or a related discipline, with 3-5 years of supervisory experience and a publication record in one or more of the following research areas:
