Job summary

Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre at the Hong Kong Science Park invites applications for a Research Assistant I/II (Ref.: H01/2022/082) to support innovative projects in screening tests, personalized companion diagnostics, therapeutic approaches and advanced medical device components.

You will drive activities toward defined goals, process data, draft reports and presentations, liaise with project collaborators, and perform laboratory administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Field of Study: degree in applied sciences or engineering related to biomedical instrumentation.
• Fresh graduates with outstanding academic achievement may be considered.
• Clear and concise writing skills in English.
• Strong sense of responsibility and research ethics.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Description

• Driving research activities towards defined goals in specified timeline
• Processing in data analysis and management
• Drafting reports and presentations relevant to the projects
• Liaising with project collaborators and partners
• Performing various laboratory administrative duties
• Supporting various Centre’s events & activities
• Handling other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Skills And Requirements

• Field of Study: ’s Degree in Applied Biology, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines. Holder of a Master’s degree will be considered as Research Associate
• Fresh graduates with outstanding academic achievement and strong passion in applied research of biomedical instrumentation will also be considered
• Fluent in English in both writing and verbal communications; clear and concise writing skills
• Good time management with a strong sense of responsibility and research ethics
• Self-motivated team player who can be assertive to achieve results
