Job description

Applications are invited for appointment as Post‑doctoral Fellow in the Laboratory for Synthetic Chemistry and Chemical Biology Limited (the Laboratory) located at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP). Established as a research unit in HKSTP, the Laboratory integrates chemical science and biomedical science for the development of new molecular medicines, diagnostic tools and immunotherapeutic approaches for the treatment of human diseases with a focus on cancer.

Responsibilities

The appointee will conduct research projects on synthetic chemistry and drug discovery in a multidisciplinary team of chemists and biologists.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
• Good research publication record
• Research experience in chemical synthesis (desirable)
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
