Job summary

C2II Centre for Immunology and Infection Hong Kong is seeking a Research Assistant I to contribute to multi-omics data analysis in immunology and infection research. You will work on data preprocessing, quality control, and interpretation of complex datasets.

The successful candidate will have a Biological Sciences or Bioinformatics background, programming experience in R or Python, and a strong interest in translational biomedical research, with opportunities to collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Sciences, Computational Biology, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or similar tools for data analysis.
• Experience with biological data analysis including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, or clinical datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret biological and clinical datasets using appropriate statistical and computational methods.
• Develop, implement, and maintain analysis pipelines for high-throughput biological data.
• Collaborate with scientists, clinicians, and project teams to support experimental design and data interpretation.
