Job summary

Centre for Immunology & Infection - C2i in Hong Kong invites applications for Research Assistant I/II (Ref.: C2i134-RP3). The appointment is on a one-year contract with renewal possible.

Applicants should hold a bachelor degree or above in Biological Sciences or related fields, have good IT skills, and a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin). • Bachelor degree or above in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, Public Health, or related disciplines.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage data and records.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Join a multidisciplinary research team to assist in routine fieldwork sampling and genomic sequencing.
• Conduct surveillance work and basic sample processing.
• Assist with fieldwork equipment maintenance and laboratory task coordination.
• Record, enter and file data; maintain databases.
• Support other duties as assigned by supervisors.
