Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Scrum Master to join a fast‑moving digital transformation initiative within the insurance/finance space. The role supports Agile delivery, facilitates ceremonies, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to meet milestones.

The position emphasizes strong communication, stakeholder management, and a good grasp of digital platforms; Scrum Master certification is a plus and remote work is offered.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of experience in project management/business analyst roles, ideally within financial services or insurance.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Basic understanding of digital platforms, transformation initiatives, and system integration
• Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure Agile best practices are followed across delivery teams
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
• Maintain clear communication channels and documentation to ensure visibility across all project stages
• Assist in resource coordination and project budgeting
• Encourage continuous improvement across processes and team performance
• Help resolve impediments to progress and escape issues where necessary
