Job summary

Canonical is a global, founder-led open source software leader known for Ubuntu and cloud technologies. This remote role spans the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, collaborating with product, sales and partners to drive integrated campaigns.

The candidate will own marketing tracks, shape messaging, and lead cross-functional initiatives at scale, mentoring teams and delivering impact across a distributed organization.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally software/SaaS/open source.
• Experience shaping GTM strategy, messaging and campaigns.
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders globally.
• Excellent storytelling and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of one core marketing track with strategy and execution.
• Align with product, sales, content and partners for integrated plans.
• Shape messaging, positioning, and assets to resonate with customers.
• Design and run experiments to test hypotheses.
• Drive launches, marketing initiatives and growth programs.
• Run reviews/retrospectives to improve performance.
• Mentor colleagues and elevate delivery standards.
