Job summary

Canonical is seeking an entry-level communications specialist to join our remote-friendly team. You’ll manage social media content, run campaigns and analyse results to grow our B2B audience across LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and more.

Based in the EMEA region, you’ll collaborate with a global communications team to tell Ubuntu and open source stories, test new formats, and measure impact while embracing ownership and learning.

Qualifications

• Experience managing social media platforms for tech brands.
• Hands-on knowledge of social media management tools and web analytics.
• Proficiency with multiple platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit).
• Analytical mindset with ability to tailor content per platform and objective.
• Experience with educational content funnels and video as a core asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong content marketing.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Create, schedule and publish content across social channels.
• Deliver analysis and reporting on metrics and campaign results.
• Grow Canonical’s social audiences and increase engagement.
• Craft messaging through copy and asset creation aligned with brand.
• Execute A/B and multivariate growth tests.
• Engage audiences and moderate communities.
• Raise awareness of integrated campaigns and product launches.
• Package product offerings and educational material creatively.
