Job summary

XY Capital Limited is seeking an Automation & Support Engineer in Hong Kong to join our analytics-driven trading operations. You will own operational processes, automate workflows, and support BAU issues to keep systems running smoothly.

You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Linux, DevOps tooling, and data technologies, and you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where continuous improvement is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a role requiring independent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Proficient in Python and related libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with Linux-based environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with DevOps tools – Git, Docker, CI/CD, Nomad.
• Experience with databases (MySQL, ClickHouse, Postgres).
• Familiar with scheduling/automation tools (N8N, Rundeck, Cron).
• Familiar with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
• Familiar with messaging frameworks – ZMQ, Redis Streams, Solace.

Responsibilities

• Support and resolve BAU issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and implement automation tasks to boost efficiency.
