Job summary

Gate is a leading cryptocurrency exchange seeking a Risk Operations specialist. You will investigate risk cases such as account takeover, fraud, phishing, and abnormal transactions, and you will develop handling plans to minimize losses for users and the platform.

You will work closely with product, data, compliance, legal, and customer support teams to improve risk controls, draft SOPs, and train staff, continuously enhancing incident response and risk monitoring capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3–5 years in risk operations, account security risk control, risk investigation, or related roles.
• Familiarity with case investigation methodologies and ability to independently analyze risk leads, collect evidence, reconstruct transaction flows, determine risk levels, and provide handling recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and handle platform risk cases, including account takeover, fraud, phishing, abnormal transactions, and security issues.
• Identify risky behavior, develop handling plans, and reduce losses for users and the platform.
• Collaborate with product, strategy, model, data, customer support, compliance, legal, and other teams to close the risk management loop.
