Job summary

Gauntlet is seeking an APAC-based Trading Operations Lead to oversee vaults and trading strategies during Asian market hours. You will monitor live strategies, respond to incidents, and work with Product and Business Development to align partner requirements across Asia.

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with live financial markets in trading operations, execution, or similar
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and trading strategies
• Ability to recognise unusual market behaviour and implications
• Good judgment under pressure to investigate and escalate when needed
• Technical aptitude to understand how trading strategies work without being a software engineer
• Excellent communication across teams and with partners
• Business fluency in Mandarin and English

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of trading operations and on-call coverage during APAC hours across vaults and strategy teams
• Monitor live vaults and strategies, investigate alerts, and identify risks using dashboards and onchain data
• Respond to incidents following playbooks and escalate to relevant teams
• Collaborate with cross-timezone teams to improve processes and handovers
• Stay informed on crypto and traditional markets and share insights with the team
• Support BD in technical discussions with APAC partners and explore new strategies
• Help improve tools, monitoring processes, and day-to-day operational docs
