Job summary

The Bank of East Asia, Limited is seeking a Mobile Relationship Manager in Hong Kong to solicit new business and grow a retail portfolio. You will assess clients’ financial positions and risk appetites to tailor wealth management and credit solutions, while expanding relationships through proactive marketing and deepening of the client base.

Collaborate with Specialists Team to deliver bespoke services, plan events to raise brand awareness, and ensure strict regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of banking experience serving retail customers.
• Experience growing assigned customer portfolios is advantageous.
• HKIB qualifications and HKIB Certified Bankers are preferred.
• Passed IIQE Papers 1–3 or equivalent.
• Passed HKSI Papers 1, 7, 8 or equivalent.
• Passed MPF requirements.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Solicit new businesses, cultivate and retainlong-term partnershipsthrough regular reviews, ensuring the bank remains the customers’ primary financial institution
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of customers’financial positions, risk appetites, and life goalsto deliver tailored product solutions, including wealth management and credit services
• Expand existing portfolio through deepening of customer relationship. Proactively expand the customer base throughstrategic networking, lead generation, and targeted marketing campaigns to meet revenue targets
• Connect Specialists Team to provide tailor-made services and solutions to fulfill customers’ needs and ambitions
• Plan and executein-branch and off-site eventsto raise brand awareness and showcase new financial products to both current and prospective customers
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity
• Serve as a coach / mentor for subordinates and junior sales staff to groom new members
• Support branch transformation initiatives, providing feedback of our services from customers for continuous service improvement

Requirements

• Work as Mobile RM Team
• University graduates preferred, with a minimum of 2 years' banking experience providing financial services to retail customers
• Experience in managing and growing assigned customer portfolio will be a definite advantage
• Relevant HKIB qualification is an advantage
• HKIB Certified Bankers preferred
• Proven track record in selling investment products is highly preferable
• Passed in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3 or equivalent)
• Passed in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination or an Exempted / Qualified Securities Dealer (HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8 or equivalent)
• Passed in the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF)
• Sound knowledge in retail banking products & services, and able to ensure excellent services are provided
• Proactive, mature, independent, customer-focused, and pleasant
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua will be an advantage
