Job summary

The Bank of East Asia, Limited is seeking a customer-focused banking professional in Hong Kong. You will build lasting relationships with clients, assess their needs, and match them with suitable products and services.

The role involves acquiring new customers through sales and marketing activities and coordinating promotions both in-branch and off-site. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required; Putonghua is a plus.

Qualifications

• University graduates preferred, with a minimum of half a year's banking experience, preferably in retail banking and/or business-related field.
• Passed in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3 or equivalent)
• Passed in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination or an Exempted / Qualified Securities Dealer (HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8 or equivalent)
• Passed in the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF)
• HKIB qualification is an advantage
• HKIB Certified Bankers preferred
• Pro-active, mature, independent, customer-focused, and pleasant
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua will be an advantage
