Job summary

BBVA seeks an experienced senior professional to establish and lead its Asia Regional TMT franchise within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division, based in Hong Kong or Singapore. The role covers sector leadership, business development and senior client coverage across Asia, driving BBVA’s expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of CIB experience with deep TMT specialization.
• Proven track record in originating and executing cross-border transactions.
• Strong senior relationships with technology, media, telecom, semiconductors, digital platforms.
• Experience in Asia regional or global platform; familiarity with Asian markets and culture.
• Ability to engage C-suite and board-level stakeholders.
• Leadership capable of building teams and driving strategic change.

Responsibilities

• Lead Asia TMT coverage strategy and client relationships.
• Develop long-term relationships with regional/global TMT clients.
• Provide senior sector advisory on trends like AI, data infrastructure, digital platforms.
• Coordinate with global/regional teams and product partners.
• Drive revenue growth across loans, DCM, ECM, M&A, structured finance, sustainability.
• Establish and lead Asia TMT coverage function and mentor bankers.
