Wabtec Corporation is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and delivery of rail-focused projects. The role emphasizes site execution, installation activities, and maintaining schedule adherence across multidisciplinary teams.

The position requires coordinating with engineering, procurement, and site personnel, ensuring compliance, and delivering quality results for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher engineering degree required.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience coordinating site teams, stakeholders, and clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of projects.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities to meet schedules, specs and client requirements.
• Identify delays/risks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics and site teams for timely resources.
• Track milestones and provide updates to the Project Manager.
• Manage site execution activities including permits, inspections, and commissioning.
• Ensure quality and documentation control across site activities.
• Support site supervision and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Attend meetings and prepare progress reports and management presentations.
