Job summary

Wabtec is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and delivery of rail project installations. You will ensure site readiness, monitor progress, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain communication among site teams, engineering, clients, and management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years in project execution, installation, testing & commissioning or railway/infra/Construction projects.
• Experience in site coordination and stakeholder engagement preferred.
• Knowledge of PM principles, scheduling, risk management and reporting.
• Familiarity with RIT, T&C, and FAI processes; strong documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of projects.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities to meet schedules, specs, quality and client requirements.
• Identify delays, risks and resource constraints; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics and site teams for materials, equipment, and support.
• Track milestones, deliverables and actions; provide regular updates to the PM.
• Support site execution activities: permits, inspections, testing, commissioning.
