Job summary

Kase (International) Technology Company Limited is hiring an R&D Expert to convert diverse architectural drawings into computable spatial models and contribute to intelligent building plan processing modules.

You will develop information extraction for plans, adaptive pre-processing workflows, and rule-based annotation of irregular structures, collaborating across simulation and integration teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Prior research experience in building plan or engineering drawing processing preferred.
• Solid foundation in computer vision or document image analysis.
• Experience in image processing and pattern recognition; deep learning is a plus.
• Understanding of drafting standards and spatial representation logic of drawings.

R&D Expert in Building Plan Visual Recognition and Structural Modeling

This is a technical R&D role. You will be responsible for transforming non-standardised architectural and engineering drawings into computable, structured spatial models, and participating in building intelligent visual processing modules that support automated recognition and passage constraint analysis.

Automated Plan Recognition and Information Extraction: Develop information extraction solutions for building plans, identifying architectural elements.

Adaptive Pre-processing Workflow Development: Develop adaptive image pre-processing workflows for building plans.

Passage Constraint Quantification and Irregular Structure Annotation: Develop rule-based irregular structure annotation functions.

Technology Collaboration: Work with simulation modeling and system integration teams to ensure structured models effectively drive related system modules.

Hold a Master's degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Prior research experience in building plan or engineering drawing processing is preferred.

Possess a solid theoretical foundation and practical experience in computer vision or document image analysis.

Possess relevant practical experience in image processing and pattern recognition. Candidates with knowledge in deep learning are preferred.

Be able to deeply understand the drafting standards and spatial representation logic of architectural and engineering drawings.

Excellent logical thinking and system modeling abilities, outstanding interdisciplinary communication and collaboration skills, a strong interest in technical R&D, and independent research and study ability.
