Job summary

Leigh & Orange Ltd, a Hong Kong-based international architectural practice, seeks an experienced CAD professional to lead BIM drafting and interior design tasks. You will produce submission drawings, coordinate with teams, decipher sketches, and maintain BIM models for tender and statutory submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years BIM drafting / AutoCAD / 3D drafting / interior design experience.
• Degree / Higher Diploma in Architecture Design or related discipline.
• Proficient with 3D modelling/BIM software – Revit / Navisworks; familiar with BIM standards.
• HK/PRC/Macau architectural statutory requirements familiarity.
• Strong BIM model creation/maintenance experience; self-motivated with drafting excellence.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submission plans, working drawings and project deliverables per regs.
• Coordinate with internal team to meet client requests and deadlines.
• Study rough sketches and decipher specifications.
• Produce precise drawings at scale; ensure all details are captured.
• Maintain BIM standards; model creation for tender/submissions; perform clash detection.
• Assist in developing BIM templates and project standards.
• Take on ad hoc projects assigned by superiors.

Job description

Prepare submission plans, working drawings and project deliverables in accordance with HK / China / Macau / international architectural regulations.

Coordinate with internal team to follow up client’s request and on-time completion of works.

Study the rough sketches and deciphering the specifications.

Prepare drawing with high precisions and as per scale.

Incorporate all details of the drawing.

Make the drawings in keeping with the standards and terms of the company.

BIM modelling, Drawing production for tender / Statutory submission, Clash Detection and attend design review meeting if necessary

To assist in development of BIM standard and project templates.

Ad hoc project assigned by Superiors / Directors / Principal Directors.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 - 8 years BIM drafting / AutoCAD / 3D drafting / interior design experience

Degree / Higher Diploma holder in Architecture Design, Building Services Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering or other related discipline

Have good knowledge and working experience of using 3D modelling software / BIM software - Revit / Navisworks and familiar with BIM standards development, implementation and enforcement

Familiar with HK / PRC / Macau Architectural statutory requirements

Familiar with CIC BIM Standards & ArchSD BIM Guide

Solid experience to create and maintain BIM project model is preferred

Self-motivated with excellent drafting experience

Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
