Kamdin Safety Intelligent Limited is seeking a technically focused R&D engineer to advance structural digital modeling and data conversion for multi-scenario building models. You will lead identification and extraction of structural elements, develop computable models, and support cross-module data integration.
The role emphasizes deep knowledge in structural mechanics and BIM, with programming and data processing skills to drive digitalization initiatives across projects.
This is a technical R&D role. You will be responsible for structural digital modeling, mechanical analysis, and the extraction and conversion of structural data, supporting the company’s R&D projects in building digitalization, and providing structural engineering technical support for multi-scenario building models.
Structural Digital Modeling: Lead research on automatic identification and parameter extraction of structural elements, develop simplified structural mechanics models, and transform static drawings or spatial data into computable structural digital models.
Structural Parameter Analysis and Quantification: Research methods for analyzing building structural parameters, quantify the impact of structural characteristics on spatial constraints, and provide structural data support for upper-layer applications.
Data Format Conversion and Integration: Develop structural data format conversion tools, support conversion to unified data models, participate in cross-module data interface integration, and ensure consistency and compatibility of structural data.
Hold a Master's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines. Prior research experience in structural digitalization, mechanical analysis, or Building Information Modeling is preferred.
Possess a solid theoretical foundation and practical experience in structural mechanics, finite element analysis, or Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Possess programming skills. Candidates with experience in spatial data processing or format conversion are preferred.
Candidates with knowledge in graph algorithms, spatial data modeling, or structural constraint analysis are preferred.
Excellent logical thinking and system modeling abilities, outstanding interdisciplinary communication and collaboration skills, a strong interest in technical R&D, and independent research and study ability.
