Job summary

Yau Lee Holdings Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Quantity Surveyor/Assistant QS/Trainee to support pre- and post-contract activities, measure quantities from drawings, and prepare cost estimates, tenders, contracts and subcontracts. Candidates with NEC contract exposure are preferred.

The role involves contract administration, evaluating variations, and processing payment claims to settle final accounts as part of a dynamic construction group with a long-standing presence in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Higher Diploma/Certificate in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• QS experience in Contractor and/or QS Consultant Firms.
• Preferably with relevant experience in pre- and post-contract works.
• Experience in NEC contract would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide general quantity surveying and contract administration services for pre and post contract.
• Take off quantities from drawings.
• Scrutiny/preparation of cost estimates, tenders, contracts and subcontract documents.
• Evaluate variation orders, payment claims and settlement of final accounts.
