Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor - Estimator to manage construction project costs. The ideal candidate should hold a higher diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building Studies and possess at least 8 years of relevant experience in the building industry. Responsibilities include preparing cost variation claims, managing site measurements, and monitoring payment processes. Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Assistant QS role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Taking off BQ items from drawings and performing site measurements.
• Preparing materials requisition orders.
• Applying for interim payment to consultants.
• Preparing cost variation claims and submissions to consultants/client.
• Checking and monitoring payment for labor wages submitted by subcontractors.
• Handling site insurance matters.

Requirements :

• Solid site experience in Main Contractor is preferable
