Job summary

Neochem Pharmaceutical Laboratories Limited is seeking a capable QC professional to assist in the startup of the QC lab. You will qualify equipment, prepare protocols and reports, and validate methods for finished products.

The role includes training QC technicians, maintaining GMP documentation, and performing process and cleaning validations. A degree in science and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science or related discipline.
• At least 3 years in commercial or pharmaceutical testing labs.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of GMP/PICS and/or ISO standards.
• Extensive experience in chemistry lab work and analytical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assist QC Manager during startup of the QC lab.
• Perform equipment qualification and prepare relevant protocols and reports.
• Perform method validation of finished products.
• Perform full monograph testing on starting materials.
• Oversee Process validation and Cleaning validation.
• Train QC technicians.
• Maintain GMP-compliant documentation system.
• Perform ad-hoc and other QC duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist Q.C. Manager in monitoring overall activities during the startup process of the QC lab
• Perform equipment qualification and prepare respective qualification protocols and reports
• Perform method validation of finished products
• Perform full monograph test on starting materials
• Perform Process validation and Cleaning validation
• Responsible for training of QC technicians
• Maintain documentation system in compliance with GMP requirements
• Perform ad-hoc duties and other QC-related duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or above in Science (Chemistry / Biology / Pharmaceutical Science or any related discipline)
• At least 3 years relevant experience in commercial testing laboratory or pharmaceutical laboratory
• At least 1 year experience in supervisory level
• Knowledge of GMP/PICS and/or ISO standards
• Extensive knowledge and experience in chemistry laboratory work
• Extensive knowledge and experience in HPLC, UV, IR and other analytical instrument
• Team player with good interpersonal & communication skills
• Hardworking, organized, initiative, self-motivated
• Able to work under pressure, and willing to work overtime
• Immediate available would be an advantage
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant QC Supervisor / QC Technician / Assistant QC Technician
