Job summary

Swing Consulting Ltd. is seeking a QA Lead to own UAT for medium to large projects in a regulated insurance environment. You'll ensure testing coverage aligns with business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders and project teams.

The role requires strong experience in Agile and Waterfall, plus the ability to mentor junior QA staff and communicate fluently in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of software QA testing experience.
• Extensive experience planning, coordinating, and managing UAT for medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery frameworks.
• Prior experience in the insurance sector is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and guide junior QA team members.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Immediate or short-notice availability is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage UAT for medium to large-scale projects.
• Apply Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies to QA strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams in a regulated environment.
• Leverage insurance industry experience to design and execute relevant test scenarios.
• Provide guidance, leadership, and mentorship to junior QA team members.
• Oversee the testing lifecycle, identify and track defects, manage risks, and ensure high standards of software quality are delivered.
