PLUG is a Hong Kong-based independent Marketing and Communications Agency seeking a Public Relations Account Manager with at least 5 years of corporate/tech PR experience in an agency setting. The role requires bilingual Cantonese and English, strong media and influencer relations, and client management skills.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Assistant Account Manager. You will lead day-to-day campaigns, work closely with senior team members, mentor juniors, and help

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in corporate/tech PR in an agency environment.
• Proven Hong Kong market media knowledge and excellent media relations skills with experience in managing campaigns.
• Experienced in client management and counsel as well as campaign execution
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a busy environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Native-level proficiency in spoken and written Cantonese (Traditional Chinese) and great business level English language
• Hong Kong permanent resident or holder of valid Hong Kong work permit

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day account and client management (approx 5 accounts)
• Setting of client KPIs and managing the delivery of agreed KPIs in partnership with the Account Directors
• Management of regular client team meetings, ensuring key milestones are met and projects are being delivered
• Thinking proactively and strategically about the clients’ business and project issues
• Demonstrating understanding of the categories in which the client operates
• Execute post campaign evaluation, reflecting on strengths and opportunities for future projects
• Media strategy planning and media relations
• Creative idea generation and execution
• Personal time management and management of junior team members
• Supporting role on new business
• Supporting role on team training
• Having fun – and helping others enjoy their work, too!

Job description

PLUG is an award-winning independent Marketing and Communications Agency based in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. We are looking for a Public Relations Account Manager with at least 5 years of relevant PR experience in corporate/tech comms, excellent media and influencer relations and client management proficiency. The right candidate will be bilingual with native-level proficiency in spoken and written Cantonese (Traditional Chinese) and great business level English language. Candidates with less experience will be considered for an Assistant Account Manager role.

An Account Manager at PLUG takes responsibility for delivering campaigns against set objectives, plays a significant role in the day-to-day execution of that campaign to achieve KPIs, works closely with senior team members, manages junior team members and external stakeholders.
