Job summary

MAXISEAL PTE LTD is seeking a competent commercial and contracts specialist to manage cost control, measurements, and tender submissions on construction projects in Hong Kong. You will prepare take-offs, estimates, and claims to safeguard profitability and contract compliance.

You'll evaluate subcontractors' quotations, monitor variations and final accounts, and maintain accurate contract records. Proficiency with Excel and AutoCAD is expected, with the ability to work independently and

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in quantity surveying, building, construction management, or related field.
• Relevant experience in construction or specialist contracting.
• Familiarity with measurement, costing, progress claims, variations, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects to ensure compliance and profitability.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Prepare progress claims, variation claims, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and profitability to maintain budget control.
• Evaluate subcontractors' and suppliers' quotations to select cost-effective and reliable partners.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed works to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for contracts, claims, and variations to support audit and project tracking.
• Communicate effectively and negotiate with stakeholders to resolve issues and facilitate project progress.
• Use Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and AutoCAD proficiently to prepare reports and drawings.
• Work independently to meet project deadlines and deliverables with minimal supervision.
